Espíritu Santo Hotel Boutique

This is a curious place. Most of the rooms are interior rooms with no ventilation so when unpleasant sewage smells came in there was no escape. I was given three different rooms which wasn’t a problem because I was the only apparent guest most of the ten days I was there. The last room was on the third floor and it had windows but the toilet seat was broken and the unit was improperly installed so it rocked from to back. The restaurant never opened although the manager assured me it would. The building is unfinished, with lovely murals and tile work but unfinished trim. The staff was kind and the place was clean but I would never go back there. It wasn’t cheap, coming in about 140 per night even though Expedia listed it at around 100. Good location 3 blocks from the malecon but it was truly creepy to ask “soy el unico huesped?” (am I the only guest?) and hear that yes, but we have reservations. Not a good choice, mostly because it’s not finished yet and the lack of ventilation. Find another place!

First of all, The staff was amazingly kind and helpful to my husband and me. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with lots of natural light streaming in from a large window.Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this place.The only draw back is there is no elevator so if one has mobility issues, may not be a good fit for you.

We booked online only to arrive and find the hotel had no electricity, I realize Hurricane Norma was an issue, BUT the room was leaking...we said no thanks and left!!!

I'm on a motorcycle and actually had parking in front and security is watching my bike 24 hours. Room is very nice, comfy bed, quite place, fantastic hot shower. Hotel has very friendly staff and price was great. Coffee shop exquisito around the corner is best and Italian restaurant rustico a block away very good. Easy three blocks to the malacon.

Very stylish boutique hotel! It looked newly redone! Exemplary service! Very clean! Good value! Loved the cafe restaurant! Way cool shower! Each room had an impressive mural of a notable Mexican site! Grab some nachos or guacamole and watch the sunset from the terrace! Good location! Nearly Perfect!
